Is someone eligible for a Servie if they’ve worked in restaurants for the last 6 months, but at different locations or businesses?
No. One must be employed at the same restaurant for at least the last 6 months.
Can one person be nominated more than once for a Servie?
Yes. One person can be nominated multiple times, as long as it’s by different nominators. Additionally, each nominator may submit one nomination per eligible individual for each Award Category and can submit multiple nominations so long as the Entry is for a different individual and/or a different Award Category.
I’m located outside of the United States, but my nominee is inside the United States. Am I able to nominate them?
You must have your Yelp location turned on and you must be in the United States to be eligible to nominate someone for a Servie.
I don’t have all of the information on my nominee that the form is asking for. Will my nomination still be considered?
Please provide any and all information you can. The Yelp for Restaurants Team will do its best to follow up and get the additional information needed to complete and verify the nomination. However, if we are unable to do so, your nomination may not be considered.
Will receiving multiple Servies nominations increase one’s chances of winning or making the official nominee list?
Not necessarily. All nominations will be weighed against the same criteria, and official voting is done publicly.
Is there any way to increase my nominee’s chances of being chosen for the Official Nomination List?
The best way to increase your nominee’s chances of being selected for the Official Nomination List is to be as comprehensive as possible on the nomination form. There are no additional ways to increase their chances.
Is there any follow up after I nominate someone?
You will receive a confirmation email after you submit the nomination. If your nominee is selected for the Official Nomination List, you will receive an email on the day of the announcement. If they are not selected, you will not receive any additional communication.
Do I have to pay to nominate someone for a Servie?
No payment or purchase is necessary to nominate someone for a Servie award.
Can I edit my nomination after I submit it?
All nomination submissions are final, and are unable to be changed. For any official questions or emergencies, please reach out to Servies@Yelp.com.
What if I want to revoke a nomination after I’ve submitted it?

Can I vote every day?
Yes, you are able to vote once each day.
Do you have to vote for the same nominee each day?
No, you are able to vote for any nominee in any category each day.
Can I vote for every category?
Yes, as long as you are eligible to vote, you may vote in every category once per day.
Can I go back in and change my vote or vote for new categories?
Once submitted for the day, a vote is final, whether a vote or an abstanation.
How do winners physically receive their prizes?
Winners will be contacted by the Yelp for Restaurants Team to provide a mailing address.
Can I exchange my physical award statue for cash?
There is no monetary value applied to the award, and it cannot be exchanged for cash.
Can one person win multiple Servies?
Anyone can win any category they are nominated for.
